At Portland OSHC we pride ourselves in providing a welcoming, homelike environment for your children. It is important to us that we are always inclusive and offer a leisure-based program, which includes teaching life skills and supplying daily a nutritious afternoon tea.
We endeavour to engage your children in new activities or enhance their already existing interests. We ensure each week will come with exciting new experiences based of conversations we have had with you or your child, observations taken, pointing out new interests your child has revealed. We believe every child is unique and learn in different ways, we will work with your child’s strengths and abilities to help them learn and grow. Communication with families and carers is extremely important to us because you know your child best. We recognise and respect culture, customs, language, beliefs, and values. We encourage children to share their feelings and thoughts, as we value their input. We strive to help nurture and develop confident capable independent children.
